Weddings

At Stradsett Events we pride ourselves on making each Special Day personal, original and elegant. We are not a commercial event space offering the same set package week in week out and we only ever accept one booking per weekend so our clients love the flexibility and creativity that a wedding at Stradsett Hall can offer. Working with Norfolk's best suppliers we can help you build whatever day your heart desires - be it an intimate summer's wedding in The Orangery followed by an eccentric English tea party by the rose garden – or a midwinter's tale of vows, velvet and candlelight in The Old Stable – or even dinner and dancing til dawn in a state of the art marquee by the lake.

Venues

Built in 1888 and converted to a rustic event space The Old Stable is licensed for Civil Ceremonies. It is also well suited to a variety of receptions from a sit-down Wedding Breakfast to cocktail and canape parties and can even be booked as an add-on for a Rehearsal Dinner on the eve of your Big Day. Offering a kitchen and two guest loos this space is a versatile choice that can seat up to 100 guests for a Civil Ceremony or cocktail reception, and up to 70 guests for a sit-down meal. The Orangery is an elegant Victorian glasshouse licensed for Civil Ceremonies and available for more intimate receptions, Rehearsal Dinners or as a romantic focal point for drinks or afternoon tea. The Orangery overlooks the stunning formal rose gardens - where the happy couple are invited to pose for their photographs - and can seat up to 60 guests for a Civil Ceremony, or more with the addition of a small marquee on the lawn. A sit-down meal for 20 guests can also be accomodated in this space.

The Stradsett Estate offers an infinite variety of shoot locations available by arrangement for Wedding photographs, Photoshoots and Films.

Stradsett Hall

After 250 years as one of Norfolk's most colourful private estates, Stradsett Hall is now opening its gates for the first time to welcome couples for both Civil Ceremonies and Wedding Receptions. Enjoying the unique peace, privacy and traditional elegance of a historic home, Stradsett offers it's enchanting Victorian Orangery and Old Stables as licensed venues and an array of stunning marquee locations including movie-worthy spots on the sweeping South Lawn and overlooking the 28-acre swan lake. The Estate plans only one wedding per week with the aim of keeping each Day very special and couples are really encouraged to make Stradsett their own. Photographs in the heavenly formal rose gardens, vintage games on the lawn and even the chance to go on until dawn are just some of the things that make a wedding at Stradsett Hall a truly one of a kind experience.
