I always use it

The kennels are easy to find on the main road between Ston Easton and Emborough (Radstock is only the postal address). After our nearest kennels (which our dog did not like) closed, they recommended Strapestone, and we wish we had known about it years ago. The family that run it genuinely seem to like dogs and our dog on arrival wags her tail, goes off with them and never looks back. She has been boarded there successfully for around three days a month plus holidays for three years. Unlike some kennels where heating is taken for granted, you will be asked whether or not your dog would like heating at an extra £1 per day. Prices are low anyway (I pay less including heating than I did at the previous place), and heating is an optional extra because many of their guests are farm dogs, accustomed to sleeping outdoors in unheated kennels.
