Swindler

I booked in December 2011 for a course to be held by Bruce in March 2012. Bruce cancelled the course in March with two weeks' notice and I still have not received a full refund of my course money, only about half to this date, July 2012, almost 4 months later. What I keep getting from Bruce is excuse after excuse and empty promises and as of late, no response to my emails. I booked early to receive a course discount that would have 'fallen away' by the end of December 2011. This is how Bruce keeps advertising his business with deals that needs to be booked either 'ASAP', or for 'the first few only'. His latest ploy is to advertise that his courses will not be offered any more coming 2013 as to encourage people to book as soon as possible for this 'limited' offering. These are all tactics in line with a ponzi scheme, where he takes as much money as possible upfront, far in advance and by the time the course should start, that money has already been spent a long time ago. This course' needs are then funded by new clients for other future courses. Even whilst he provides excuses of having no money at present to pay me, he is using his resources to refit his studio. So, if he cancels a course, why not simply refund me all of the money? Why does it take him almost 4 months after he cancelled the course to refund only 50% of the course fee? Why does he break promise after promise of refunding me? Why does he spend money on his other projects whilst at the same time not refund me the course that he cancelled? Bruce is a swindler and lacks professional integrity and I would suggest people steer well clear of him and his business.
