Since its inception, Substantial Films has produced the award-winning feature-length documentaries 'NomadsLife' and 'With or Without You', the 'Visions' series of documentaries which will premiere on 'The Visions Channel' and 'Wakan Tanka', an innovative hybrid narrative documentary about climate change. The company has also created numerous music videos for television and award-winning short films screened across the UK.

The company has also created numerous music videos and award-winning short films and is now expanding to develop feature films. We have experience with a wide range of formats including 35mm, 16mm (STD/Super), Super8, HDV, XDCAM, Canon 5/7D and RED.

Substantial Films also produces economical TV commercials and virals of a very high quality. We own our own camera and lighting equipment and edit suite including grade one monitor.

We hire out our equipment including HD cameras, lights and our edit suite which includes FCP 7, Adobe CS4 and grade one monitor.

We can provide a full range of photography services and poster designs for clients.

We offer a script doctor service including: proofreading, re-draft, polish, review and technical edit.
