Steer clear

The guys that did the moving were pleasant enough but prepare for plenty of breaks and moaning about joint pains. One lad was particularly good and didn't moan and worked hard but unfortunately that is where my positives end. The saleswoman that came round apparently underestimated our load and that was apparently our fault. Our belongings were not treated well and the amount of breakages was extremely high. We were told to leave things in drawers and crates by the saleswoman which was criticised by the team of movers. I took time to painstakingly label every box with it's location at our destination. All of which were ignored. I complained to Swift giving them the opportunity to deal with my complaint and after 5 weeks got a reply saying an item was broken in front of us (oh so thats ok!) and that other items were too heavy and that was why they were broken. We were told that there was more than the saleswoman had stated on the order (apparently our fault as well). The response was rude and very unprofessional and not dealt with well. I would not recommend this company and in fact would say if you value your belongings steer well clear.
