Dear Mr Jackson, I am writing to you regarding the refurbishment of Tarleton High School Swimming Pool that took place in August 2010. Our school swimming pool was on the verge of closure due to a major water leak and failing plant equipment that was no longer fit for purpose. Following successful partnership with Lancashire County Council, the funding was raised to allow a refurbishment project to be undertaken. From the first initial meetings when collaborative partnerships were formed, everybody involved shared a drive to make the project a success. I would particularly like to commend the involvement of Edward Clarke, who oversaw the project and through his fastidious approach and steadfast attention to detail has delivered a fantastic facility. Darren Clark's commitment ensured the school, as the client, was kept informed and involved in all key decisions and was able to shape the project. The project presented challenges and difficulties at times, but perseverance ensured adversity became triumph. As the final defects have been completed and the pool has been operational for almost a year, Iwanted to write to express the gratitude of not only the school pupils and staff, but also the wider community whose access to this vital local facility has now been assured . The school has benefitted for the involvement of your company in this project and your staff have been a credit to you. Mr. P. Finch, Chairman of the Governing Body
