Does being a builder absolve you from the norms of normal courtesies?
Brian was slow to get in touch after our initial referral for our ground floor remode.and he sounded a little disorganised on the phone. Typically this would be a red flag , which on this occasion we chose to ignore , to our cost. Brian duly came to estimate the job, but did not get back to us, despite our further email contact with him. Brian is typical of our recent experiences of builders, whereby they believe, that for whatever reason, common courtesies of communication can be ignored. Sadly builders are the first to complain when there is a downturn in the economy, but I will have no sympathy for them when this happens.
