I was in a position where I was represented by a solicitor working for Takk Solicitors Maidstone. I was charged with an assault against a police officer. The person who represented me on numerous occasions refused to let me see the CCTV evidence. Each time I asked he would say things le " I forgotten my lap top" " I left it in the car"" The Internet is down" and so on. Upon the court date (via video link) there was a problem with the connection. I could see and hear the court by they could not see or hear me. Whilst this was being remedied the solicitor representing me was casually chatting with people in the court, the judge included. He clearly in part of the conversation with the judge said " this is pretty much a straight forward case, it shouldn't take long" , you will find him guilty in any case" I was dumbfounded, here was a man representing me telling the judge how he's going to find me guilty before the case commenced. Afterwards I made a complaint to Takk Solicitors who at that time where helpful and said " give me a few weeks to look into this and talk to the person in question then I will get back to you" The course of action they did take was to totally ignore me and my complaint, to date I have not had any communication with them what's so ever.
