Talbot showrooms offered me honest advice and in my opinion are not there to rip you off. I saved over Â£900 by staying with an indpendent company and got better service and fitting. Carpetright and Allied quoted me Â£750 more for the same carpet and when they added tape, gripperods and moving furniture charges the ""free fitting"" charges, it didnt really blook free anymore. The large chains will just rip you off and sell you rubbish - my advice stay local and stay away from the chainstores.
