Best Dance School Ever!!!!
My daughter has been a student at TAPA since she was 4, she is now 12 and takes classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz. I cannot express enough how lucky we feel to have found TAPA, I firmly believe that the teachers and fellow students have helped to make her the confident girl she is today. If you are looking for a dance school with strong work ethics, teachers who encourage and praise no matter what your ability and a lovely family atmosphere, TAPA is the place.

TAPA Home
I am a student here at Temple and have been since I was 3 - 13 years ago. I have taken part in every class Temple offer and have enjoyed every one. I currently study Tap, Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Pointe, and have only reduced to these classes due to increasing school work. TAPA is my second home, and through working on Reception here as well, I am lucky enough to see all parts of the school. I have a great relationship with all of the teachers, even those who dont currently teach me pesonally. I have made friends for life, not only with those students in my classes, but also wih students throughout the shool, of different ages, who I might only see in passing at class changeovers. TAPA has also given me the perosnal confidence to perform in Disneyland and on stage numerous times. I only have two years left of being a student here before moving on, and I know I'm going to miss TAPA like mad! Recommended to anyone, any age, any ability!

Very happy at TAPA
TAPA offers outstanding teaching and support to its students. Standards and expectations are high, but there is also an emphasis on enjoyment. There are lots of opportunities to perform on stage and students also get the chance to show off their creative side. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed the 8 years she has been there, during which time she’s made lots of friends and grown in confidence on stage.

Outstanding Dance & Theatre School
My Daughter has been attending TAPA for over 12 years and has studied dance and theatre across a wide range of disciplines. The teaching is of a very high standard encouraging good discipline and a sense of responsibility. All pupils throughout the school are encouraged to fulfil their potential with great opportunities to achieve examination success. However underpinning all of this is a real sense of fun, excitement and community which is instilled by the principal and all teaching staff. As well as taking part in many school performances and shows, pupils from TAPA including my daughter have successfully audition for both amateur and professional productions examples include Pantomimes at the Stag Sevenoaks; Ashcroft Theatre Croydon; Harlequins Redhill and Churchill Theatre Bromley, English Youth Ballet, West Wickham Operatic Society Productions including Annie and Wizard of Oz at the Churchill Theatre. My daughter has made great friends at the school and TAPA has be a very important part of her life from toddler to Teenager. I would have no hesitation in recommending TAPA to anyone; this school can cater for all from guiding and shaping pupils with aspirations and the potential for a career in the performing arts through to pupils who just want to pursue a hobby in a fun and exciting environment.

All ages welcomed
Having tap danced regularly for 35 years, only starting as an adult, I chose to attend Tapa as my class had closed. Age 68 now with some musculo-skeletal difficulties some of the steps are difficult for me. However I have received such kindness, help and consideration from Nicki and can thoroughly recommend her for her welcoming attitude, her aptitude, skills and professionalism.

TAPA = Top quality
My daughter has been attending TAPA for 11 years and in that time it has gone from strength to strength. The number of pupils has increased and the facilities have continued to improve whilst maintaining the family friendly atmosphere. During her time here I have watched my daughter's confidence grow and she has made special friends. The principle and staff work together to bring out the best in their pupils. They are approachable and communication with parents is encouraged. I can happily recommend TAPA.

Unique Family Atmosphere - more than just a dance school
We were so fortunate to discover Temple Dance School (now Temple Academy of Performing Arts) when my daughter was 2 ½ and she has learnt ballet and modern dance from the most amazing and caring teachers. TAPA has its own studios and family home at Baston House and the unique family atmosphere makes it more than just a dance school. My daughter is now almost 15 and we are so happy that TAPA has been not just about exams, but building quiet confidence at the right pace and about the true enjoyment of performing. Our family and friends have enjoyed many performances and shows of an incredible standard including 2 unforgettable trips to Disneyland Paris where the students had an amazing time performing on a Disney stage. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend TAPA to any parent or child.

A First Class School
I am an adult student at TAPA and have performed alongside many TAPA students in TAPA and other productions. All teaching is of a very high standard in singing, dancing and acting. The students are supported at every stage and given many opportunities to perform. They are happy, confident, unfailingly polite and supportive of each other within a close family atmosphere. I am particularly impressed by the responsible attitude of the older children towards the younger ones. The teachers have a great rapport with their students whilst being highly professional. Any concern, once reported, is addressed promptly and fairly. Once they reach the required standard, TAPA students are encouraged to audition for local societies where they are in high demand, having an excellent reputation for their ability and approach. I would not hesitate to recommend this school to anyone.

Five Star
We have just started our eight year with TAPA and will be staying for a long while yet . The standard of teaching here is excellent with each child being encouraged to stretch and challenge themselves. Opportunities, such as the major performances and the choreography competitions allow every child to get involved, develop their talents and learn about the process of putting a show, or a simple dance routine, together. My daughter has grown in confidence, made many good friends, stayed fit and healthy and loved it all. We thoroughly recommend TAPA!

NOT GREAT, ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING !
TAPA has a very friendly and family orientated ethos that spreads throughout all that attend this marvellous dance school. The students are very well mannered, well round individuals that can sing and dance with the best of them. Our daughters have been at TAPA for many years and thoroughly enjoy the many confidence building classes from Ballet to Musical Theatre. Highly Recommended !!!

TAPA -Simply the best
My daughter attended TAPA from the age of 3 until she went to one of the countries best full time performing arts academy at 16. The standards of teaching are very high (this has been remarked on by her college teachers). Both students and parents are made to feel very much at home in the school. Temple Academy - a great choice
My daughters love Temple Academy and have a great time dancing, acting & singing whilst making many new friends. A great family feel to the School. All disciplines available, taught to a very high standard. Thoroughly recommend.
