Andy Thackray has worked in the Motor Industry for over 25 years starting as an apprentice motor vehicle techinician at 16 years old in September 1985 at Trimoco Ford Trucks in Chelmsford, moving on to Laidlaw Ford (Cars) of Brentwood in July 1989, moving the large step from the service department to the sales department whilst at SMAC Continental Mercedes-Benz (Cars) in January 1990, L&C BMW & ALPINA in April 1994, L&C Corporate Services in May 1995 where Andy was posted to and responsible for the Lehman Brothers Investment Bank Car Ownership Scheme, then setting up and running the Blue Chip sales scheme for Sytner Group HQ in April 2002 until December of 2009. TCS was formed by Andy Thackray in July 2009 as a Limited company after years of wanting to set up a bespoke Prestige & Specialist motor vehicle company for high net worth customers. Today TCS has in excess of £2M turnover in new & used car sales, car storage and refurbishment.

Paul Thackray, an illustrator (Graphic Designer) by trade has devoted his spare time and funds to restoring numerous specialist vehicles, which are often found being displayed at car show grounds across England. Paul heads the refurbishment and preperation part of TCS and ensures our high standards are met on all vehicle preperations and refurbishment contracts.
