We're proud to have been serving the people of Sunderland and Grangetown for over 35 years! With a large main bar, restaurant, Sunday lunch carvery and function room catering for parties of over 300 people, there really is something for everyone at The Alexandra. We have a function room that holds up to 400 people
There's disco and karaoke on a Saturday night...
and there's happy hours that last from 12pm - 6pm Monday to Friday - also during all Sunderland football games!

Awful place
this pub looks like a jesters inn from the outside and feels like on inside. its a grotty pub at next to a main road with very little parking. the staff are not very polite and the drinks are expensive in comparison to its local rivals. the "entertainment" it poor at the best of times. the food is just cheap microwave meals heavily marked up to stupid prices. the local patrons tend to be the kind of people you give a wide berth to when walking passed them in teh street. all in all i'd recommend you take a walk down the street to one of the much nicer pubs.
