Good food at the Arun View
A great pub - the only one in the area! The AV offers homecooked and fresh food. They have a huge menu and i've found they can accomodate all diets. If anything the service or front of house sometimes lets down the food and it sounds as though a 'front of house' mess up resulted in mmillmor's bad experience - such a shame.

Poor quality food
We ate here on a Tuesday lunch time. Three of us ordered the "special" pie, and it was obvious that it had been reheated at least once - possibly twice. The crust was black and solid. Also, one of the children's meals arrived on a plate so hot that he literally burned himself on it - big red marks on his fingers. Restaurants must realize that plates straight from the oven are not acceptable for child's meals.

great pub restaurant
lovely pub by River Arun, shame weather not good otherwise can sit outside. food is very good, great choice. they have dancefloor so next time will organise party and dance! lovely views, easy parking. will visit again, no hesitation. thanks

Excellent service and food.
I have eaten here many many times and it is always busy. The food is some of the best tasting and well presented. They also put on live music and have specail events throughout the year including a firework display. The prices are very competitive and you will be hard pressed to find a better all round night out.
