A public house since 1608, The Blue Ball Inn is a picture-perfect pub in a delightful location on the Quantock Hills. Exposed beams and hand-made furniture beneath a thatched roof of former coaching stables provide a rustic backdrop for the food on which our reputation is built, but this is not run-of-the-mill pub grub.

Our daily changing menu makes good use of local produce and may include scotch pheasant egg and black pudding, stonebass with lobster, scallops with pea and ham risotto or wine-candied pear and millionaire shortbread, though if it's in season it will probably feature somewhere. Real ales, fine wines and superb bed and breakfast accommodation are also available.
