Worlds Most Expensive Photographer

We attended this studio using a voucher for a shoot with a print. Things started really well, a friendly receptionist offered us a cup of tea and were nice to our children. The photographer was superb, getting some great reactions out of our children and coped very well with the addition of our dog. However the enjoyment and excitement of the shoot was totally wiped out by the high pressures sales tactics used by the salesman following the shoot. We appreciate that this a business that needs to turn a profit, but the prices charged are completely outrageous. The salesman was patronising and made the whole experience feel more like buying a timeshare than family portraits. Unless you have a large banker bonus you are struggling to spend and are immune to sleazy salesman i would strongly avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere.

DISGUSTING PLACE

EMAIL SENT TO BUY A GIFT RE THE EXPERIENCE: A while ago I brought a friend a voucher which due to personal circumstances was exchanged at some point for a makeover at Click Studios Richmond. I have some reference numbers which may assist you in retrieving the details: 1073094-bag259602, 1053012-bag284471. I am a very good customer of yours and use your company all the time for presents and personal use. Basically, this experience was booked for yesterday (18th August) and my friend took me a long as her companion. We were really looking forward to this as we have had many experiences from your company. I was TOTALLY DISGUSTED at the experience and wondered if you would be able to offer an exchange voucher for me to give to my friend as she was totally disappointed and in fact, came out of the studio in tears feeling very unhappy about the way she looked. I was given a 1 year baby shoot voucher as a present that came from buy a gift and I have had the first 2 shoots already! A totally wonderful experience, professional service and I brought so many photos. It was fun and I would have expected our experience at Click Studios to be the same but it was not. We arrived and were greeted by a bored and rude lady in a reception area that was filthy. She took us individually out the back to get out make up and hair done in a room that was a through walk to the customers in the building when going in to the studio or to the toilet – totally embarrassing. The make up used was not washed and there was no evidence of cups with water in for the brushes etc. She took my friend in first and me straight after and there was no time for her to clean the make up in between. She asked us how we wanted our hair and makeup . I told her my hair was to be up and big to which she put in 3 curlers and then brushed it straight and my make up was blue eyeshadow and the same as my friends. We actually looked like clowns. We were told to be prepared to be there for 4 hour s and to arrive with no make up and clean hair which we did. We looked no different when we had been done and it took 10 minutes each. We were expecting a treat but felt rushed and not nice for our photos. WE then went in for the shoot which was in a room painted white with no lighting and a photographer that spent 20 mins telling us about her cat that had died. We told her we wanted head shots and my friend wanted her arms to be non visible. When we went to view the photos in a room that again was a throughway to the make up room and toilet, the shots were awful and were not what we asked for. We were hoping to buy a portfolio but we have said that we didn't even WANT THE FREE PHOTO as they were awful. As soon as the chap realised we were not happy with the photos, instead of asking us if we wanted to do them again, he very quickly said thanks for coming and I will call when free photo is ready (to which we said we didn't want it ) and he ushered us out of the door. As I have good comparisons of photo shoots, this was a sham. Especially as if you buy a photo with them, it is £85 min which for the service and product is awful. He actually told us that the photos were not great but if we bought them they would be better quality! We were in there for a total of 1 hour and 10 minutes (this included 10 minutes separately each for make up and 20 minutes hearing about a cat. We paid to get there and I arranged a baby sitter in the hope that we would be out most of the day and having fun! I EVEN HAD TO CHANGE MY OUTFIT IN FRONT OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER AND IN FRONT OF A BIT OF GLASS ON A OLD WOODEN CHAIR> I have since researched this company and there are others that have complained of a similar experience, It also could do with a good clean! AWFUL PLACE!

We had our family portraits done by Click Studios and have been absolutely disgusted by them. The photographs were damaged, poorly finished and far below what one would expect from a 'professional' photographer. Their customer service is shocking and they have made no attempt to return our numerous phone calls or emails, and don't appear to care that we are not happy. Do yourself a favour and DON'T USE CLICK.
