The Dark Barn Lodge is surrounded by beautiful countryside and ideally located for easy access to Gloucester, Cheltenham, the Forest of Dean, Hartpury College, the Cotswolds and all surrounding areas.There is ample free parking on site, including provision for larger vehicles, such as horseboxes.

Our Rooms

We have a total of 10 comfortable bedrooms, all en-suite and furnished to a high standard. The rooms are set out in a lodge style, each room having its own private front door, accessed directly from the large decked courtyard area. Some of the rooms have countryside views. There are complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, a TV and free wireless internet access in all rooms. Wi-fi is also available in other areas.

Breakfast

We offer a choice of Full English or Continental Breakfast, served between 07:00–09:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00–10:00 Saturday & Sunday. Please let us know if you require breakfast and at what time, as it is freshly prepared to order.
Although we no longer offer evening meals, we can direct you to various types of restaurants and pubs in the locality.

The Dark Barn Lodge is a small, family-owned business, set in a beautiful countryside location, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We have been running our bed and breakfast accommodation since 2000 and have an extensive knowledge of the local area to share with our guests. Whether you are looking for accommodation whilst on holiday, exploring the local area, attending a sporting event, such as Cheltenham Gold Cup Race Week, Hartpury or Kingsholm Rugby Stadium or just require good, overnight accommodation whilst away on business, we believe that we can offer you a friendly, comfortable place to stay at very reasonable rates. We are a pet-friendly establishment and welcome well-behaved dogs by prior arrangement, for which there is a small charge.
