The Foot Care Clinic opened for business, July 2008 which has been a major success with customers in Birmingham.
We are a unique clinic based in Great Barr, Birmingham.

Established in 2008 as a Podiatry/Chiropody clinic we expanded in 2010 to combine an advanced Skin Care Centre & Beauty salon.

We combine our medical knowledge to provide our clients with evidenced based treatments, using a holistic approach with a solid scientific background

Our range of services is unrivalled, and we're happy to accommodate any special requests you might have.

We pride ourselves on providing high end previously unavailable products and treatments and making them available to everybody.

Meet our staff

Ms Maxine Hassan BSc (hons) Podiatry MChS Cert Ed HPC
Maxine is a qualified podiatrist and medical aesthetic practitioner as well as being the clinic owner.
Maxine has a specialist interest in Bio-Mechanics and takes referrals from the regions leading orthopaedic surgeon Mr Mark Heron providing prescribed bespoke orthotics. She has worked in the N.H.S. and
has lectured on podiatry at Universities.

If this wasn't enough she is also a qualified in medical aesthetics; so is licensed to administer Botox and Dermal fillers.
Having built up a successful private practice in Sutton Coldfield it was her ambition to open a multi-purpose centre to cater to mind and body.

Tim Hughes, BSc (hons) Podiatry HCPC
Tim has worked both in the NHS and in private practice and offers routine chiropody treatments as well as bio-mechanical assessments and foot mobilisation techniques. Mobilisations are gentle but firm movements aimed at increasing the range motion at symptomatic joints in the foot and ankle and can also be beneficial when used in conjunction with orthortics.
Tim's other experience includes diabetic foot care and minor surgery for the treatment of ingrowing toenails and he is also qualified to administer local anaesthetics.

Louise McNamara BSc (hons) Podiatry HPC
Louise is unique-a trained holistic therapist as well as a qualified podiatrist. Her initial background is massage and Aromatherapy, specializing in Indian head massage and reflexology-a relaxing healing treatment (see our holistic page for more details) Louise works part time at our clinic and appointments with her are booked on Wednesdays.

Kim BeautyMed Manager
Our new beauty manager has over 12 years experience in the beauty industry, she is a specialist in facials and skin care. Kim enjoys all aspects of beauty and is looking at bringing some exciting new treatments to BeautyMed.

Ms. Karen Huges Nail Tech
Karen is a very popular member of the team here at Beautymed. She is available Thursday-Saturday and creates the perfect relaxed environment to enjoy your treatment in the nail room. Karen has over 7 years experience in manicures and pedicures including acrylic extensions and just loves the shellac range.
