A terrible shame
A couple of years ago, this was a brilliant little shop, friendly professional service, and well worth the slightly higher cost when compared to local rivals. I've just walked out after having one of the worst barber experiences I can remember. The place smells like a campsite shower block, the young girl who served me was scruffy, miserable and disinterested. It almost seemed like I was being an inconvenience by bring there. After less than 5 minutes of frantic chopping, she slapped some cheap product on my head and sent me off packing. I certainly won't be returning in the near future. What a shame- I thought Carlisle would finally have a good, trendy barbers. Sadly not.
