and a plush comfortable layout both in the lounges and the rooms. the student atmosphere was fun too but the best thing after the free and unlimited wifi was the proximity to our nightclub. The main city nightlife centre is just a block away and yet the street itself was quiet offering a good nights sleep. we have rebooked for our next gig in the city.

if it wasnt for the bunks you could easily envisage this to be a pretty upmarket boutique hotel filled with interesting art works ,comfy furniture and rooms hoaching wiyh individuality. Globetrotters oozes charm and personality . no wonder it is soooo popular. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet like and in plentiful supply. Internet free and the cheese n wine we attended was well worth it. A good interesting place.,with loads to do and see within walking distance. Nightlife around charing cross was spot on.

shown to our dorms, shown to nearest washroom facilities and shown how the night lock works. GIVEN MAPS OF CITY,GIVEN FREE PASSES ,GIVEN DISCOUNT VOUCHERS TO LOCAL RESTAURANTS. These turned out to be real good andd great value thanks to the vouchers. Hostel facilitieswere ample and possibly most important of all the staff introduced you to other staff and guests so there was an instant raphore. The atmosphere was outgoing and one could easily imagine ,one was a character in one of Agatha Christies countryhouse novel settings. We simply loved and adored our stay, appreciated the free internet and highly recommend it to any other travellers but especially lone tourists, the intrepid.

stayed in glasgow longer than we had planned mainly due to the well informed staff here and saw bits of scotland we would have otherwise missed

However the location was great with everything within walking distance and a super collection of theatres, pubs and nightlife within walking distance. Having said all that the street where its located is quiet and non commercial so you do get a great nights sleep.
