Smart pub that caters for all tastes
Certainly the smartest pub in Cardigan, following the recent refurbishment. Now under the safe stewardship of the affable ex Landlord of the currently defunct Black Lion, this ensures a friendly welcome and good atmosphere.The real ale is kept in first class condition and the food is nothing near Michelin standard but certainly well above average as the number of covers they seem to get through will testify.You can bring the family here or visit with mates and feel comfortable, something that cannot be said about some of the other establishments that serve niche crowds such as Schooners or The Angel - and that's not a criticism just a statement of fact. This pub seems to cover all the bases which is its main selling point and why I'm recommending it.
