Disappointed
Studio 5 was recommended to me by a friend, and I'd been wanting to get my hair colored for about 6 months now... but sadly I didn't get what I asked for. I asked for blonde and got something only a shade lighter than my dark brown hair. I was particularly disappointed as I even brought along pictures to show the colorists/stylists (as more than 4 different people worked on my hair - who were all very nice) and the color I got was nothing like the pictures at all. And it cost me over £50 too. I doubt I'll be going back and now I still have to find a salon capable of dying hair blonde :(

Finally found a stylist to suit me!
I seem to have been searching for a good salon for ages. By 'good' I mean that I'm really fussy about my hair and, dare I say, expect a certain level of service... Well, it seems my search is over! I seem to have developed a bit of an obsession with having my hair coloured and have tried numerous salons in Nottingham trying to find the right one for me. Studio 5 is a clean, well-presented & trendy salon but I didn't feel at all intimidated when I visited the first time. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and I was so, so pleased that the stylist actually did listen to what I wanted (thank you Charlotte!) I've also had a treatment in their beauty room and was similarly impressed. If you're looking for a cheap hair cut maybe Studio 5 isn't for you but if you're quite particular about your hair or about the level of service that you expect to be given, I would recommend that you give them a try. I will definately be visiting again as soon as I can justify another trip...!
