Counselling Service

We offer a professional and confidential service to individuals and couples. We have experience in dealing with a range of problems which include Depression, Anxiety, Bereavement, Abuse, OCD, PTSD, Stress, Bullying and Management of Chronic Illness. One of the psychological theories we work with is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, which has been proven to be successful when working with issues such as Depression & Anxiety.
Sessions are 50 - 60 minutes in length and the cost is £30 per session.
During the first session we carry out a Clinical Assessment to decide on the best treatment for you. We will then discuss the number of sessions we recommend. This is reviewed constantly. Childrens Counselling

We have recently introduced Childrens Counselling for Children over the age of 10 years. Our therapist works with children through play. Sometimes children can become stressed and upset but are unable to express how they feel as we do as adults. Therefore, it requires a different skill to be able to connect and understand the childs difficulties to enable the child to be helped.
The first session is required to be attended by parents(s)/guardians before meeting the child. Once the child is happy to work with the therapist alone, the parent will be kept updated of the childs progress.
Sessions are £30 and are 50 - 60 minutes in length.
