Beefeater, Hole in the Wall, Bristol

This restaurant is mostly very good, with British Food that is well cooked & varied. It is however in need of some updating, the decor leaves a lot to be desired compared to others in the same chain. The restaurant is situated on the first floor of a public house, which is very near the docks in Bristol.The food at this restaurant can be very good, but saying that I have also had some bad experiences here, where the food was either not cooked properly or cooked a long time before it was served to me. The staff were generally helpful though, and I have never encountered a waiting time here – in fact often myself & my family were some of the few diners in the restaurant.Due to the location in the centre of Bristol, it is necessary to pay for parking at this location. There are several car parks very close by though, within 1-2 minutes walk.This restaurant is fine, but there are others of the same chain in the local area that are better.
