Really enjoyed our time in Torquay at the Hotel Balmoral , booked for three nights bed and breakfast. Room was compact clean and all the amenities you need. Breakfasts where very good good quality bacon and perfectly cooked eggs with the added availability of kippers or haddock. Friendly service. Nice gardens to sit out close to the beach in and reasonable bar prices too. Will be back for sure. We had some great weather too which really helped.

Arrived for a weekend break, one of their specials. And the whole thing was just perfect. Service fab, food superb and nightly entertainment was a laugh, all very good. cant belive its only a 2* hotel,. the lounge and dining room had just been refurbished so it was all looking quite swish. Our room very clean and nicely furnished, large and sea facing with nice views of the area,. I highly recommend this hotel, you cant get much better .
