I've never had a bad meal here. The food is always gorgous. I have had the odd time when the waitress has been overwhelmed so a bit slow to get drinks etc. The food is always fast though and lovely. I have found the staff to always be polite and friendly.

I met my other half here, so The Junction Tavern's got a gold star for that alone. Nauseating anecdotes aside, however, this place is a corker. I've never eaten in the restaurant bit but I've sunk many an Addlestone's and eaten many a perfectly-cooked piece of meat in the back half of the bar, the conservatory and the garden (where I once nearly got killed by a full can of coke flying over the wall from the hand of a rogue child). The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful and the food is divine - even when I don't think I can fit in another mouthful, I'll always find room for the crumble. Meals are not easy on the pocket, admittedly, but you certainly get what you pay for and the food is fresh, seasonal and beautifully thought out and executed.I've never had anything faintly resembling a bad time here. It's a first rate choice for a quiet pint, a sociable Saturday night out or a leisurely Sunday dinner. Love it.

I have been going to the Junction for nearly ten years now. It is a lovely building and always had a fine selection of beers. However, the current management have let the place go quite dramatically. The senior staff are aloof and rude and have tested my loyalty to the place. This could be a great pub again if the people in charge are changed and the new management go back to being courteous and keeping a good cellar. If I had reviewed this pub a year ago it would have received 5 stars. As it is I am only giving it one out of fond memories of the past and hope for the future.
