Originally built circa 16th century, The Kilns Hotel is a classical Grade II listed Queen Anne's building having undergone many period changes over the years, surviving into the 21st century.
Externally, the hotel retains much of its original charm and character, internally however, only a few of the original features remain. The building has undergone simple and sympathetic restoration which has added to its long and varied historic changes. It has now emerged as a beautiful petite hotel offering enormous charm, comfortable facilities and a great place to relax.
We offer excellent food and drink in The White Napkin Restaurant, lounge and bar, which has been nominated twice as finalists in The Essex Food and Drink Awards, Best Hotel Restaurant category.
