Not recommended

Would not and did not recommend this company to friends and family after all the issues we have had with them. Friends and family waiting on our fitting results were advised to go to Howdens and have. Left a review on the company’s Facebook page which has now been removed along with all the other negative reviews, just to prove the type of people you are dealing with, and proves the point that Steve the owner doesn’t handle conflict or criticism well. So much so that when our original design of doors was no longer available he didn’t tell us until a week before they were due to be fitted and only then after we chased him for updates. That was a theme during the 9 month fitting that was supposed to take 6-8 weeks. Removing negative feedback is also a great way of keeping their rating score higher than it should be. Less reviews and only positive ones mostly from a few years ago. Don’t be fooled. To keep their quote within our budget they under quoted on specific jobs that needed to be done by the tradesmen meaning we had to go over budget in order to get the kitchen finished. Steve the director, told the tradesmen when they questioned the quotes given, for example some of the building and electrical work, to take it up with us directly. Once again showing his avoidance of conflict. The main builder on the job has since stopped doing any building work linked to the Kitchen Company due to the way the company handled the whole deal. Product supplied to us was never quality checked before delivery to the customer, us. Cabinet doors were the wrong colour, the wrong size, the wrong design and damaged but still were delivered. The goods returned for replacement were still the same in poor colour design and damaged, one larder door being replaced 4 times. This led to more delays and increased storage costs which we have been told we could have kept lower by putting our items in the cabinets even without any doors on them. Really? The paint finish on the cabinets even after replacing them was so bad that we had to have the cabinets sprayed whilst in situ in our kitchen. Even when it was all sprayed we had to send doors for respraying because the finish didn’t match on all the cabinets. Definitely do not recommend this company. Andy
