Incompetent, expensive, rude and unhelpful - awful experience

Truly an awful experience - rude, unhelpful, expensive and incompetent. Tony "jimmied" the door open with a paint scraper and brute force, glanced at it and told me it couldn't be fixed without a carpenter and that I would just have to leave the door wedged open with a bit of wood; it is my elderly mother's house, so this didn't seem like an acceptable resolution to me...!! 😂 He said that unless I was prepared to pay extra for some carpentry work, he wasn't able to do anything else, and that the charge was £64 despite being there only moments. He was unable to take card payments - so requested cash or a bank transfer. I was quite shocked, but felt I had no choice but to make the payment. He then stormed off down the garden and left at speed. A second locksmith (NOT lock genie!!) was able to fix the problem within minutes, guaranteed his work, charged a lot less - and requested the details of Lock Genie to ensure he did not inadvertently recommend them to customers. Truly shocking 🙁
