Excellent Oak

I have visited The Oak at Baggington, just outside Coventry, quite a few times over the last 18 months. The management and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the food is generously proportioned and the motel round the back is as good as any 'Travel Lodge' kind of place. There is a good selection of beers, wines and spirits in the pub, The pub is very spacious with very comfortable seating. The menu is very good and although it's not gourmet food it offers tremendous value for money. My room in the motel was spotlessly clean, equipped with tea, coffee, kettle, biscuits, TV and ensuite bathroom. For £40 including a full English breakfast this represents very good value. I recommend this pub for a warm and friendly welcome and a convivial venue for a good evening.
