Located close to the many fine cafes and restaurants. Visit the world famous Stephen Joseph Theatre where Sir Alan Ayckbourn previews his plays before taking them to London. The Paragon offers an excellent base to explore coast and countryside. You'll find a night life to suit everyone available, including numerous bars, cinemas and a new casino, the Spa with its Music and shows. Then you can relax and visit the parks and gardens with which the town won The Britain in Bloom. Within a short drive of the town you can explore the quaint villages where Heartbeat and The Royal are filmed, or visit Castle Howard and the North Yorkshire Moors, for further adventure why not take a step back in time and travel by steam train from Pickering to Whitby.PLEASE NOTE:The Paragon is 100% Non-smoking, and does NOT have lift facilities. Bedrooms are located over FOUR floors.Guests who may have difficulty with stairs are recommended to telephone in the first instance to check on availability of bedrooms on lower floors.No pets are permitted on the premises.
