Very poor
Pity the friendly landlord who runs this place.Food is 2-4-1, so cheap.This sums up the whole place.Vegetarian food choices are limited.Staff are mainly teenagers and surly.The place needs a complete refurb,soon.

Cheap food!
The Star is your typical 2 for 1 eating establishment. It gets very busy, the service isn't really the best and you end up waiting a while for it to come out, and even then theres a good chance it's not quite right. The menu is pretty basic with the usual steaks, burgers,sc#mpi et al all being present. Don't get me wrong though, the servings are nice and hearty and the desserts are lovely too. If you are the kind of person who likes somewhere a bit quiet and food which is a step up from basic then this might not be up your street, but if you are the kind of person who wants a lot of bang for your buck and doesn't mind waiting and the place being busy then Bob's your uncle! The prices are very reasonable too and won't break the bank so this place is ideal for families who want to eat on a budget.
