About Us...

Teesside Bridge Club is a thriving community based social club in the heart of North Ormesby Middlesbrough, With friendly staff and members the club has a great atmosphere and has all the facilities you would want from a social club. Live TV sporting events on show on the plasma screen TV's and a wealth of sporting activities such as Snooker, Pool and Darts.

Our Function Room is spacious and perfect for any occasion including Birthday, Wedding and Christenings. The room can be dressed to the occasion, room hire is free and we can provide DJ's, catering and entertainment should you need any of these services.

Teesside bridge club was established for the engineers and staff working on the Transporter Bridge when it was built in 1911, The bridge owned by British Steel and many of the hard working men from the steel works would visit the club for a well-earned pint at the end of a shift. In the late 1970's the club became privatised and the members bought the club. To date the club has around 600 plus members.

Function Room Hire
Our spacious and bright room offers everything you would need to celebrate any occasion, With an in house DJ offering sound and lighting and catering upon request we really know how to get the party started.

The room even comprises of a stage fit for any entertainer, should you wish to have a singer perform we can help you find that perfect act. We even supply karaoke for all you budding singers.

The room can be dressed up ether professionally or if you wanted to include balloons and banners etc you are more than welcome to do so.

The room holds up to 200 people and has more than enough seating and tables.

We work closely with some fantastic businesses from cake makers to singers and event organizers so don't be shy, the bridge club can help make any occasion a success.
