I am 39 years old and married with two young children. I run my own small business in Inverness, The Weave Room. After developing a love for hair in 2008 I started practising in Hair Extensions. In 2010 I started up as Hair Extensions by Gail.

During the years I have been in business I have kept up to date with the latest techniques by completing courses & staying relevant within the industry. I am Habia Accredited and Habia Champion recommended. My main aims are to give stunning yet safe extensions along with optimum customer service and provide a fun, relaxed & friendly environment. I am passionate about empowering women to look & feel their best through their hair.

In 2017 I trained to become an Educator in Hair Extensions. I provide in depth education to you on a one-to-one basis. I make it easy for you to learn how to fit hair extensions, grow your business and make money in this fast moving market. You will gain a certification to provide the best types of hair extensions with confidence, in turn wowing your clients and creating a steady income stream. The Weave Room was originally established by Gail Macdonald in 2008. It began with the sole aim to provide excellent quality extensions at affordable prices. This along with fantastic customer service gave us the key to tapping into the Inverness market. All our hair is ethically sourced from suppliers around the world. We have searched high and low to find the best quality hair, best techniques and best products to ensure our clients & students receive and give a premium service.

In 2018 the business was expanding by offering training courses. At The Weave Room we believe in thorough training so that the student is well equipped with the knowledge and confidence required to establish a successful business. We are fully insured, have the relevant teaching qualifications and a wealth of experience in the hair extension industry meaning you will get the very best start to your new career.

Unless requested, training is done one on one. This guarantees 100% attention is on you. Our graduates go out into the industry feeling competent and confident in their work.
