Our most frequent repair is laptop screen replacement, this is a regular repair for our business,
We try to keep a stock of common laptop screens. But there is a vast range of sizes and types,
that said we order screens reularily and our normal turn round time is 2 days, if you have cracked or broken your laptop screen bring it to us. We will remove the screen and order a new one from the part number on the reverse of the screen. If ordered before 4 pm the screens often arrive within 48 hours. Sometimes the next morning. We can loan a laptop to you to use while your laptop is in with the workshop for repair.
We can save data from your laptop and put it on the laptop we have loaned you. So you can keep working.
Another cause of screen failure is the graphic card, this does not mean the screen is faulty, but that the chip responsible for creating the image is not functioning. This issue can be resolved by a process called re-balling or re-flowing.
In either case screen failure or graphic chip failure, the data on the hard drive is
not normally affected, and can be recovered and saved to storage.
Remember to we are open when most businesses are closed, Our workshop is home based dedicated workshop at the side of our home meaning we can provide a much more flexible working time. So don't panic or stress call us any day from 8am to 9pm for FREE friendly advise.
