As a landlord I can only say do not appoint Thomas Patrick as your letting agent. This guy is just an absolute charlatan. We had missing rent payments (x6mnths) that took nearly a year to be paid with endless excuses attributing it to accounting problems. One of our favourite excuses was another landlord with the same name as me had received my rent in error but couldn't return the money as he had spent it!!!!!! Over a year on and with promises that the problem had been resolved we're again missing over £2000.00 of rental payments for our property and still getting paltry excuses of new accountants making errors, blah, blah, blah. This is the most unprofessional pathetic excuse for a letting agent in Northampton stay well clear. Our last tenant left at the end of September, Thomas Patrick claimed the reason was they were complaining of damp in our property. A subsequent conversation with the next door neighbour who had got on well with our tenant reveals that they were told of an impending rent increase and could no longer afford to stay. We had never instructed or ever requested a rent increase. Had they accepted the increase it's unlikely we would have ever known of this fraudulent action.
