We have a very important Book of Remembrance, giving complete histories of the men named on the village War Memorial, which we needed to show in a prominent position in our church. To do this we needed a high quality display cabinet. After much searching we found Paul @ Thorne Woodworking who came up with a suitable design at an acceptable price so an order was placed. The cabinet was delivered on time and to specification. The finished cabinet shows a high standard of workmanship with much care given to detail. The unit has since been put on display in the church and we have had many pleasing comments on its quality and appearance. We are absolutely delighted with the work undertaken by Paul; his craftsmanship, imagination and helpfulness were second to none. I think we presented him with a unique challenge (creating some bespoke pieces of furniture for our motorhome) and he didn’t disappoint, creating some beautiful pieces that work perfectly in a relatively confined space. What we really appreciated was his willingness to think creatively and turn our rather vague ideas into something tangible and practical, and at a very competitive price.
