So much choice

This may be a small thornton's in our local town, but as they say bit is not the size it's the taste. This shop has everything you need in it. As soon as you walk in the door the smell of delicious chocolate hits you, its enough to make you go week at the knees. In the center of the shop there is a display with circular buckets containing all kinds of delightful offers. Around the shelves there are plenty of choices for loved ones, friends or children. There is a qhole are devoted to children's sweets and chocolates that to be honest I prefer as I find the adult ones a little to rich for my liking. The tills are situated behind a large panel of glass that houses all kinds of different chocolates that can be brought by weight. This is what I imagine charlie and the chocolate factory's shop would look like!they even will ice personal messages upon the chocolate it requested. There is also an Ice cream area for those rare hot/warm days.

THis little thorntons shop is on one of the busy shopping roads in ipswich town it is a tiny shop, so be prepared for being a bit squashed at busy times. The usual thorntons selection of delights is here and they never fail to please. The kids selection box , with 4 little mini packs is very cute and makes a nice small gift or stocking filler. They some times have the cheap bags of slightly mis shaped chocs which are much cheaper than usual and taste just as good. The ice cream is great, but why oh why has it gone up in price so much, it never fails to please but its not cheap. Plenty to choose form in this little shop and we all love a little bit of thorntons.

I love chocolate and Thorntons fills my need for chocolate. Something that I soon discovered in Thorntons was there delicious toffee and fudge. The toffee tastes and smells wonderful and is so creamy with a variety of different flavours. The branch in Ipswich is small, but well placed being in the centre of town. They stock a large variety of chocolate and toffee and also serve ice creams. The place is always busy at the weekends so can take time to be served. The staff are friendly however busy they are and the place is kept clean. Well worth a visit.

What can one say about Thorntons? Possibly the best chocolate ever. If you want that special gift then items can be written on in icing especially at Easter. And don't just expect Easter eggs at Easter, Thorntons have lots of other Easter chocolate gifts. For that special woman in your life, what could be better than a box of Thornton's Continental chocolates? Or if she is fussy about her chocolate centres than you can get a box made up of all her favourites. But don't forget the men, there's plenty in Thorntons for them too. My husband's favourite is the chocolate gingers and a packet always finds its way amongst his christmas and birthday gifts

Everyone loves thorntons, but the Ipswich branch on Tavern Street isn't one of its best shops. It's pretty tiny so doesn't have the full range of things, and they rarely have ice creams on sale (which are basically the best things that thorntons do in my opinion. fudge sticks, mmmm...). anyway, it's right in the middle of town which is handy and they do sell some of those cheap mis shapes and stuff which is always a bonus because some of the thorntons products can be pricey otherwise. generally friendly staff and tidy and everything, but not very good when it's really busy because you don't fit in the shop. d'oh! But because it's a thorntons it still gets 4 stars.
