and ale in our beautiful Northumberland country inn. Situated in the

Situated in the village of Thropton just 2 miles from Rothbury on the banks of the river Coquet with stunning views over the Simonside hills. We are also a bed and breakfast, stay in one of our five newly refurbished en-suit bedrooms, wake up to an amazing view and start the day with a hearty Northumbrian breakfast. Ideal base for fishing, walking and cycling etc. We have an extensive menu catering for every taste, with large fish and vegetarian choices. We serve a traditional carvery every Sunday, prices from £7.95. Choose from a selection of 5 meats (beef, pork, lamb, turkey & honey mustard ham) with all the trimmings. Our 3 course Festive menu running throughout December starts at £15.95 perfect for Christmas parties. 3 course Christmas Day lunch served between 12 - 2 & 2 - 4 is just £26.95 and is booking up fast! We are having an authentic Indian food night on the 2nd of December. Plenty of free parking outside, perfect for a trip out or coach parties etc
