Terrible experience with these guys, amazing what some people will try to do for a quick buck. We phoned to ask for some advice about replacing a mini inspection hole cover to which we were told they wouldn't be able to tell us if they could help unless they visited. They visited that afternoon, took a photo on their phone of the inspection hole and chatted to me for all of 2 minutes. When I indicated that Wales & West Utilities would also be looking at it the 'gentleman' made a sharp exit. The company then sent me an invoice for a call out charge! When questioned on this, Mr O'Brien said "you wouldn't expect us to come and have a look for nothing" even though there was no mention of such charges on our phone call. Fortunately Trading Standards Newport agree that this is some sort of scam and I have a call recording system as part of our GP practice system so that we can verify what was said on the call.
