Quality versus price
£12 for three courses is good value for the set Sunday lunch. However the pork was pure fat and gristle, the promising- sounding roasted vegetable and stilton lasagne had not been within a mile of a stilton cheese and was covered in runny greasy cheddar sauce. It looked like a five year old had put it together. We specifically asked for the veg to be well done and when served it was as hard as iron.The service was good though. In this part of the world, there are not many places where you can go for lunch. We would not have minded paying more for better quality.

We came to your hotel for our nieces wedding and stayed Friday and Saturday night. We had a superb meal Friday night and the wedding was a wonderful day in a brilliant setting and venue.
