Restaurant - Chinese in Portsmouth
28 The Hard
Portsmouth
Hampshire
PO1 3DT
I went here with a few friends for an evening meal to celebrate someones birthday. We were told they were expecting more people, so we were ushered on to a table at the back of the restuarant. In the two hours we were there no one else came in. We were informed that whatever we asked for from their all you could eat menu that wasn't eaten we would be charged for. There was zero atmosphere. The staff clearly didn't want us to be there, The decor was appalling and the toilets were awful. The only time they seemed interested was when we came to pay the bill. I've had much better chinese meals in the City.

Very good Chinese restaurant. It is located vright next to the bus station and Portsmouth Harbour Train station but is normally not too busy. The quality of food is excellent. The service is very good and the layout of the restaurant makes you feel far enough away from everyone else. They have all the usual dishes you would expect and always offer a good standard of food. The portions are well sized and make for a reasonably priced meal out. Do not overlook this restaurant because of its appearance - it is slightly dated but this is one of the nicest chinese restaurants in portsmouth.

This is a very nice chinese restaurant. The decor is ok but the friendly service and great food makes up for it. If you arrive in Portsmouth Harbour, it's a great place to stop for good quality and value food!
