From the moment I booked my appt to leaving the salon I was treated abysmally. I was given a 9am appt with no choice given to me. The receptionist was just truly vile to me. On the actual day I was shoved between 3 different stylists, offered no drink and the hairdresser doing my colour COMPLETELY IGNORED what I had wanted. The receptionist also charged me for 2 colours even though I had only got one colour. I left in tears and £160 out of pocket. The colour was so bad I had to go to another hairdresser that day to sort it out. I spent another £90 and destroyed my hair. Avoid this place like the plague!!! Worst hairdressing experience of my life!

I have tried T and G in Oxford and Banbury both were terrible.

With no prior warning on price, a standard gents cut cost me £47. Cut was fine, but this is a ridiculous price by any standards.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new hairdresser. I had been recommended toni and guy in oxford by several of my work colleagues and decided to give it a go! The reception team were really friendly, and even though I was really nervous and indecisive about my hair they offered great advice. The stylist was lovely and even got a technician to provide me with a free colour consultation right then and there. The reception team offered me a discount for my next two visits and also explained about online booking as I work long hours and would find it easier to book online while at work. I would recommend this salon to anyone. The service they provide is excellent, and I will definately be returning in 6 weeks with my discount card!

I have just above the shoulder, wavy hair and never had any issues with hairdressers until yesterday. Went in to book an appointment and was told as I had so much hair I would need a double appointment. I'm horrified and have never been told that in my 33 years or spent longer than 1 hour in total in a hairdresser or had hairdressers comment on how much hair I have!!!! They obviously don't want to cut anything other than straight hair.

I recently visited toni&guy oxford for my first time. I was greeted by a friendly member of the reception team who offered me a drink upon arrival and pointed me toward a selection of magazines they had available. I had a wonderful head massage and the stylist was both friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to toni&guy oxford, and took away a brilliant heat protection spray, which has worked wonders on my before unmanageable hair. I was also please to receive a new client discount card for my next two visits! I was more than happy and will definately be returning to the salon.

Of the 4 Toni and Guy's I have been to this was by far the worst. The staff were unhelpful, abruptit and the service was over-priced. Worst of all, when at the end of the hair cut i suggested it wasn't quite as i wanted I was ignored and rushed out. A really unpleasant experience and average haircut in my experience.

The Toni & Guy franchise is generally well known and well respected, and the joy about having your hair cut here is that you expect, and receive, with the odd few exceptions, a very high standard. The staff are extremely friendly and are more than willing for you to return for a free fringe trim in between full cuts, and love giving advice to people like me who are incapable of even using a hairbrush!
