The comprehensive range of family law services includes divorce and separation, children and financial disputes, civil partnerships, cohabitation issues and associated property disputes. We deal with cross-border aspects of family law and have experience of international child abduction. It also deals with personal protection and harassment issues which may feature domestic violence. In addition, the team prepares living-together agreements, pre- and post-marital contracts (pre-nups & post-nups).

Clients are as likely to be based abroad as they are to live in London or the South East. The team regularly works with wealthy individuals based in this country as well as UK expats on high profile and complex cases.

International aspects of divorce and family law are a particular focus. This includes in which country one should commence proceedings, (forum shopping), assets held abroad or in off-shore tax havens, children relocation and abduction, recognition of foreign orders and enforcement of orders across borders to name but a few examples.

The firm deals with less common areas of family law, to include grandparents seeking contact with their grandchildren and intervention by, or applications involving, third parties in financial disputes on divorce.
