Grooming your pet in a quiet, friendly environment

This is a friendly and quiet salon, ideal for all temperaments including nervous and more confident dogs and cats. I groom one dog at a time, so your dog gets one to one attention, with no room for delays making the groom as smooth and swift as possible to aid the comfort of your dog or cat. It is important to me that you and your pet have confidence in me and the relationship we share with your dog in mind. I feel that this is a vital ingredient to your dog or cat being comfortable in the salon.

Salon based and mobile grooming

I am able to travel to groom dogs and cats in their homes, when it is more appropriate for either your pet or you. I can also collect and deliver dogs or cats from your home to bring to the salon. The cost of both of these services depend on where you live.

Flexible at no extra cost

If you would like an evening appointment, please ask. This is aimed to fit in with other commitments of some pet owners. There is no extra charge for evening grooming, however the appointments are limited and I would appreciate it if you could book in advance.

Helpful for all temperaments

I work one to one with your pet, in a safe, clean environment. If you are concerned that your dog or cat may be anxious or nervous in the grooming salon here is a few points that I hope will reassure you. The salon is quiet, there is generally only one dog at a time (the exception is if the dog is waiting to be collected, or if two come in together). There is one groomer here, so your dog will see the same person every time s/he visits the salon. There is a garden where the dogs are led to have a break from their groom. After the groom, they receive a treat. The approach taken to your dog or cat is very much individual, led by you and designed to reassure him/her at all times. There is a record card we fill in together on your first visit to the salon when you will have the opportunity to discuss with me any concerns you may have, and when we can work together to offset these concerns.

Professionally recognised qualifications held

I hold a C&G in pet grooming, and take opportunities to continue grooming training regularly. I have also completed first aid in the salon training.

Every groom comes with a free health check

When your pet visits the salon for their groom, as a standard service I will perform a health check, which includes checking ears, eyes, teeth and any abnormalities. This is a free service.

Free pre groom consultation

Your dog or cat will receive a consultation where we will together discuss what type of cut or treatment your pet will have. This is also an opportunity to discuss any worries you may have.

Part of a full groom or separate

You can visit for ear cleaning &/or nail clipping these are £5 each or £8 for both together. If you have booked a full groom these services will be performed if needed at no extra cost.
