I'm impressed!

I had my hair highlighted here today as a last minute appointment. I'm very, very particular about my hair so I was REALLY nervous about going to a different salon, but I was desperate. I was a bit apprehensive about the decor (sorry, I'm snob) when I walked in and felt petrified when I realised the girl doing my hair seemed to be fresh out of college, however, I was so pleasantly surprised that it just goes to show that I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover! I didn't feel I was being rushed at all, in fact the girl working on my hair took particular attention to every detail and didn't mind when I asked her for a bit more off here & there (well, she didn't seem to mind!). I think I would have been quite comfortable letting them know if I wasn't happy with the result (which is always a bit of an icky situation!), but I was more than happy. I think I just would've preferred to have been asked if I wanted products on my hair ( I don't normally use them),but that's the only negative point I could mention. I felt really relaxed here and was put at ease by a lady, who I think was the owner, she was lovely! I suppose a key factor with hairdressers is always the price, but again, I was impressed - it was really, really reasonable. I shall certainly be using this salon again and I'm so glad I plucked up the courage to try a different hairdresser.
