I can't understand this other comment? I have had great service and extremely friendly staff. Perhaps Tom G should read the T's & C's before having a moan about them! Sounds like a lazy bloke to me who can't be bothered to use the club properly! I am having a great time here and my wife has loved the Zumba classes.

Do not join this club. You will find it extremely difficult to get out of your contract. My partner and I took out a 3 month contract at £50 per month and cannot believe the trouble we've had trying to get out of it. Their terms and conditions state a "calendar's month notice is required". We handed our notice in on 3 May 2008 thinking our membership would terminate on 3 June 2008. The club however argue a calendar month's notice takes us to 30 June 2008. We made a full month's payment for May and the club argue we owe a full month's payment for June and July. Without further reference to us they instructed a Debt Collections Agency who claim we owe £110! We tried to speak to the club on a number of occasions and each time we were told the Manager was unavailable. No one returned our calls despite our obvious concern that a Debt Collections Agency had been instructed. We had to phone the head office to complain in order to get the manager to call us back. When we finally spoke to the Manager of the club he was extremely rude and obnoxious. He refused to answer any of our concerns or to put anything in writing. We then asked for a face-to-face meeting to try to resolve matters and he told us he "wasn't going to waste any more of his time"! We have been told verbally that they will not pursue the alleged "outstanding debt" any further but we are concerned this is not going to be the end of the matter. We feel the terms and conditions relating to the notice period are unfair. Quite clearly they are failing to clarify their definition of a calendar's months notice in their Terms and Conditions and as a result are getting away with overcharging their members. DO NOT JOIN THIS CLUB.
