Town and Country decorators are based in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne and are fast becoming a renowned company which provides excellent workmanship and attention to detail. We cover all areas of the painter and decorating trade covering domestic, commercial, interior and exterior in the Newcastle region. We have grown to be a company which thrives on providing excellent customer service.This however has resulted in the company to grow to be able to cover a large area covering Newcastle upon tyne, Northumberland and throughout the North East.

Interior

At Town and Country, before we decorate any room or surface we complete out preparation stage by making and sanding all surfaces this includes ceilings, walls, coving, dado rails, doors, frames and skirting boards to the best standard. If extensive damage has been caused we would recommend one of our approved plasterers to apply a skim to bring the surface back to its former glory and providing a great back drop to apply your chosen colour or wall covering. We provide top quality finishes and this means using quality products and carry out all painting ensuring attention to detail at all times. We use all types of paint including matt, eggshell, gloss and all other finishes required providing a superior professional finish. We carry out a wide range of other decorative work including preparing or even replacing coving, dado rails and trims. Sanding and restoration of flooring has been very successful we also seal surface and apply varnish or any other required finish bringing your old floor back to "new look".

Exterior

All properties require the correct paint system for ultimate protection. Town and Country decorators pride themselves on providing expert advice on correct paint systems to use on exterior surfaces, it pays to use quality products as it is your first defensive layer against the elements. We provide advice on which paint to use against wet conditions as well as sun.

We specialise in feature walls to bring a room to life, as standard the surface is prepared properly cross lined and then apply the wall coverings.
