The Trafford Hall Hotel is a huge old Victorian building which was originally the Trafford Public Hall. it took us about 5/10 minutes from the tram next to old trafford to get to the hotel which isnt bad.....you have to get a tram from centre of manchester to the old trafford first but thats only a quick journey too... there was also a bar and restaurant and a huge carpark too...we stayed here after a recent r.e.m concert and was absolutely shattered so didnt really enjoy the ensuite facilities or the tv...but, the insuite coffeemaking freebies got used and the complimentary biscuits.....our room even though we booked a twin was infact a triple and was huge - with a spacious wardrobe space and a lovely leather couch to relax on....the beds were clean and tidy and freshly made - the nights sleep was lovely....one con of this hotel was because it was old and victorian it had an old smell to it but, it was very clean....the breakfast the next morning served up to 9am was gorgeous - you help yourself to the pastrys/scones/toast, etc on offer and then can order a full english too which was absolutely yummy - the sausages were divine....it was a decent helping too because i left some......the guys running the restaurant were very pleasant and chatty - one we nicknamed smiler as he had such a huge smile on his face all the time.....the young lady on reception was a bit ditty but such fun....a lovely friendly place to stay....
