To whom it may concern Regarding Marylou Booth from Training Works Winder Hall is a country house hotel near Cockermouth in Cumbria. It was very important to have management training so that our key staff could deal with the changes and growth taking place within the business. Alongside management training, we wanted customer care training so that we were doing our best for our customers at every point of contact. The main objective of this training was to increase profitability throughout 2011. After an initial meeting and a series of phone calls, Marylou Booth carried out a series of ten interactive workshops covering: Essential management skills Running meetings Time management, planning and delegation Customer care Writing good emails Telephone skills Dealing with difficult people and situations Marylou worked with the staff and managers at their pace and we were able to set standards of performance as part of the process. This means that the benefits of the training would continue long into the future as we continued to raise standards. Throughout this whole process Marylou was a pleasure to work with. More importantly she was completely reliable with a lovely style and personality which enabled the whole team to rise to the challenge of training. Her approach combines a strong sense of structure with a relaxed teaching style. Because Marylou was able to tailor the training to our business, we have been able to see immediate results saving us money and improving our customer focus.
