Poor value for money

I also had a groupon voucher like the other two reviews and found the receptionist unhelpful and rude too when I tried to book for my appointment(which again. I couldn't have for a few weeks). However when I arrived for my appointment the stylist was helpful and friendly and convinced me to come back for another appointment to get my hair dyed with a semi-permanent tint at 50% off which was £16.50, which I thought was a good deal. It was the second appointment that was, in my opinion, extremely disappointing. I was told that if I wanted my hair dried it would be at extra cost, but when I asked how much the stylist said she didn't know. I asked a couple of times and was told that they would find out for me, which they never did. The stylist started to blow dry my hair and I asked her to run the straigteners through it at the end as my hair is naturally curly and a blow dry doesn't tend to hold. She said she would but then when it came to it she was already seeing her next client and asked if she could leave it. When I arrived at the till I was presented a bill of £49 - a little different from the £16.50 I had been told - over three times the amount. They had charged me £33 for a blow dry that lasted 10 minutes and hadn't been finished with the straighteners as I had asked. I asked to speak to the manager and explained I was moving house this month and I just didn't have enough money to pay for that - it wasn't the amount I had been told. She was very rude and unsympathetic and told me the price list was online or on the recpetion desk - not a lot of use when you're sat in the hairdressers chair! She also said I could have asked for the price (which I had) and seemed to be accusing me of lying. Sorry this a long post but I am very angry about the value for money in this salon. It seems from my own experience and other reviews that some of the staff in this salon are rude, and that they seem keen to add on extra charges. I would definately not recommend!
